Spaghetti Bolognese

A classic that kids love too

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 100 g mushrooms

  • 100g walnuts

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 400 g chopped tomatoes

  • 1 teaspoon oregano

  • 1 tsp basil

  • Salt & Pepper

  • optional: 1 carrot


Preparation

  1. Process walnuts and mushrooms in a chopper to a coarse mince (carrots too)

  2. Mix the mushroom and walnut mince with the chopped onion, tomato paste, spices and herbs and fry until it becomes as crumbly as possible.

  3. Cook pasta.

  4. (If necessary, deglaze with a dash of red wine and) then add the chopped tomatoes.

  5. Simmer for about 10 minutes and season with herbs, salt and pepper

  6. Mix the sauce with cooked pasta and garnish with fresh basil.

  7. The mince can also be processed and frozen in larger quantities.
